Justin C. Kirk is a self taught photographer born and raised in southern New Jersey. While in school he began shooting with a point and shoot camera he got as a Christmas present. Under the encouragement of friends and family, he pursued photography more and soon upgraded to the dslr he uses today.
His primary focus was to create surreal imagery using natural light to capture natural images. After moving to Brooklyn, he became influenced by the greats before him such as Helmut Newton and Tibor Kalman.
Today he continues his photography while fulfilling the promise he made to his mom to finish school.
